How to use the Gacha Lottery module

How to use the Gacha Lottery module

Turn a one-off prize draw into a gacha machine players press, wait for, and read — a short interactive entry point for launches, seasonal campaigns, and member rewards.

Contents

What you can use it for

Give a launch or a holiday a reveal worth waiting for

A coupon code that appears instantly gives players nothing to anticipate. The wait does, and that is what they remember: they see the theme, press to start, watch the capsule drop, and only then read what they won. It suits launch weeks, anniversaries, and campaigns you want shared.

Put your brand colors on the machine itself

The machine is the first thing a player sees. Pick a look that matches your brand or the season, then keep the prize names, the instructions, and the result page in the same voice. The draw page then reads as a complete campaign entry point.

Choose the draw rule that matches what you are promising

This is the decision to make first, because it is what lets you set the prizes and write the public copy honestly:

  • Guaranteed Win — every player gets something. Suits customer appreciation and rewards campaigns.
  • Probability Draw — odds you set. Suits a campaign with a genuine rare top prize.
  • Until Depleted — fixed stock, first come first served. Suits a limited drop.

What it looks like

Start with the machine

Machine Style holds the built-in machines, with the one you have selected previewed beside the list. Settle the look here before you write the campaign copy — filling in prizes first tends to pull the theme apart.

On the draw page itself, the machine is a block like any other. The framed area below is the edit trigger for its appearance. What you change here is what a player sees when the page opens — not the content of any prize.

Then the copy around it

Opening the style panel gives you the machine list and its colour controls together. The Instructions field sits on the same page, directly under the logo — a player reads that line before they press anything, so it is worth writing at the same time as you choose the machine.

Result Title Text is not a prize, but it decides how quickly a player understands what they just won. The editor previews the result page as you type.

Finally the prizes and the reveal

Prize & Probability Settings is one page holding every possible outcome, and Lottery Mode at the top is the highest-consequence choice in the module. The other settings are cosmetic if you get them wrong; picking the wrong draw mode is a broken promise to players. Below it, each prize shows its quantity, its odds, and how many have been drawn so far.

The Result Image block is where a player actually sees what they drew. Check that the image and the result text explain the prize together, so nobody has to work out what they won after the reveal.

How it works

The machine sets the first impression

The machine's appearance fills the screen before the player starts. It is not the prize, so check separately that the machine colors, the Instructions you write on the draw page, and the Result Title are telling the same brand story.

The prizes are what the player ends up reading

Every prize needs a concrete name, result content that reads cleanly, and redemption steps where they apply. A player gets exactly one prize. Do not leave them guessing what it was after the reveal.

The draw mode is a promise

Probability Draw, Guaranteed Win, and Until Depleted are three different promises. Once you pick one, check the quotas, the odds, the stock, and the copy on your entry page against that same rule. If no prize is available, the player is prompted to try again rather than being handed an empty result.

What the player goes through

The player opens the campaign → sees the machine and the instructions → presses the machine → waits through the capsule animation → sees the one prize they drew → reads the result and what to do next.

How to get started

Quick start

You start from a general template or a blank project. This module has no AI template, and there is no way to generate a whole project with AI. The editor has some built-in helpers, but they will not check your draw rules, prizes, or stock for you — do that yourself.

  1. Write down the campaign goal and a one-line instruction for players.
  2. Pick a machine style that matches the theme.
  3. Create the prizes, starting with names and redemption steps a player can follow.
  4. Pick the draw mode, then check every quota or stock figure one by one.
  5. Preview the whole flow on a phone, from pressing start to reading the result.

For a walkthrough of customizing the machine itself, see How to Customize Your Gacha Machine Style?, or try the official template. Both are build-and-draft resources. Neither is a case study or a claim about results.

FAQ

Q: Can I make it so everyone wins?

Yes — use Guaranteed Win, and make sure the entry copy and the result page tell players it is a guaranteed reward.

Q: Do I need a lot of prizes?

No. A few prizes with clear tiers, names, and redemption steps usually work better than many vague ones.

Q: Does the machine style change who wins?

No. Style controls appearance; the prizes and the draw mode control outcomes.

Q: How is this different from Scratch-off Lottery?

In Gacha, the reveal comes from pressing the machine and watching the animation. In Scratch-off Lottery, the player swipes the card open.

Once you have your theme and prizes ready, you can create a Gacha Lottery project.
