Seeing (曦影) is the graduation exhibition of the Class of 2025 from the Department of Multimedia Design at Takming University of Science and Technology. For our 2025 exhibition, we explored the theme: “Coexisting with AI.” To create a more interactive and engaging experience, we collaborated with OOOPEN Lab to create a bilingual personality quiz called the “AI Aura Scanner.” (Chinese-AI your own light, English-AI your own light)
What we didn’t expect was just how much this quiz would expand our reach, which helped us connect with audiences far beyond our usual circle.

Making the Theme More Relatable Through a Personality Quiz
At the heart of our exhibition was a personality quiz that invited visitors to answer a series of story-driven questions based on everyday scenarios. At the end of the quiz, participants received a unique “aura” result: light represented their outward personality, while shadow revealed hidden aspects of themselves.
By representing outward and hidden traits as light and shadow, the quiz encouraged self-reflection. This concept aligned beautifully with our exhibition’s theme of “Coexisting with AI.” Thanks to OOOPEN Lab’s intuitive quiz module, we were able to build a seamless experience that went beyond our expectations.
How the Quiz Sparked Unexpected Audience Growth
The AI Aura Scanner quiz quickly became one of the most popular features of the Seeing exhibition. Its accessible and playful nature resonated with visitors, helping them feel seen and understood. That emotional connection sparked an unexpected wave of organic sharing and enthusiasm.
As more people took the quiz and shared their results, we saw our audience expand rapidly beyond our original community. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and participation continued to grow throughout the exhibition.
Going Bilingual: Opening the Door to a Global Audience
To make the experience as inclusive as possible, we offered the quiz in both Chinese and English. The English version allowed international visitors at the physical exhibition to fully participate, and it gave the project a stronger presence online as well. (Can the project answer interface be switched to English? How do I set it up?)
We promoted the quiz through Instagram and Facebook, and set up touchscreen kiosks and QR codes on-site so visitors could take the quiz on the spot. The quiz became a powerful driver of foot traffic and social sharing.
This seamless fusion of online and offline interaction turned the quiz into more than just a fun activity. It became a key part of the immersive experience and inspired visitors to become natural ambassadors for our event.
From Interactive Tool to Organic Traffic Driver
OOOPEN Lab’s platform enabled us to create a dynamic experience that funneled active interest into the exhibition. From backend data, we saw exceptional conversion rates and strong feedback from on-site attendees. The personality quiz garnered far more views than anticipated, and social engagement continued to climb.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to explore even more of OOOPEN Lab’s features to support innovative campaigns.
