Cubo AI has always been dedicated to the real-life needs of parents and caregivers. Their latest campaign, the “Which Caregiver Are You?” personality quiz, wasn’t just about brand exposure—it was designed to help parents, grandparents, and all types of caregivers recognize their unique “caregiving styles” and bridge the gaps in family teamwork.
To reach a global audience, the team launched the quiz in four languages: Traditional Chinese, English, French, and Japanese. By combining deep audience insights with eight distinct 3D-style characters, they created a highly relatable experience. Furthermore, by following OOOPEN Lab’s strategic advice to move the email lead-generation form to the final step, they successfully boosted the completion rate. This “content-first, data-later” approach ensured users were fully engaged before being asked for information.
Let’s dive into their creative journey and behind-the-scenes insights!
Project Background & Inspiration
Could you share the primary goal of the “Cubo AI Caregiver Style Quiz”?
We wanted this quiz to help parents understand each other’s caregiving styles, fostering better teamwork and mutual support. We also wanted to include other caregivers, like grandparents, in the conversation. Ultimately, this helped them connect with the Cubo AI brand in a natural, supportive context.
Who was your target audience for this project?
Our primary focus was parents, but we intentionally designed it to be inclusive of anyone involved in childcare.
Why did you choose OOOPEN Lab for this project?
We had a limited budget but needed to deploy the project in four different languages. Developing this from scratch would have been incredibly time-consuming. We discovered that OOOPEN Lab already offered a variety of personality quiz modules, ranging from simple to complex. The interface was so intuitive that it allowed us to focus entirely on design and storytelling rather than technical coding.
The Creation Process
Why a “Personality Quiz”? Was this your first time using this format?
This was actually our first time creating a personality quiz! We chose this module because it perfectly aligned with our vision for interactive storytelling.
Any special design details in the character development or scoring logic?
Quite a few! For instance, we used hexagonal ability charts that directly corresponded to the final results. We also ensured the probability of each result was balanced. Every hashtag, character name, and visual trait was carefully crafted to echo the user’s input.
How did you handle the 4-language localization?
It was relatively smooth. We made minor adjustments to certain terms and questions to fit local cultural contexts, but kept the core structure intact to ensure the result logic remained consistent across all versions.
Which OOOPEN Lab features did you find most useful?
The direct image upload feature is fantastic! It’s incredibly intuitive and allowed us to build a professional-looking quiz with zero coding knowledge.
Did you use AI tools during the process?
Yes, almost every step involved AI—from converting character styles into “3D-like” visuals to calculating result probabilities and mapping the relationships between different roles.
Promotion & Results
We promoted the campaign primarily through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) using the hashtag #SuperTeammateAtHome and collaborated with several KOLs to reach different caregiver communities.
One of the biggest wins came from OOOPEN Lab’s expert advice: moving the email collection field to the very last step. By building interest first, users were much more willing to provide their information to see their results.
This simple adjustment significantly increased our overall completion and lead-generation rates!
Future Plans & Recommendations
Are there any other modules you’re excited to try?
I’m looking forward to exploring Multi-dimensional Quizzes to break the traditional mold. We initially considered a “picture-book” style narrative with branching endings, and I’d love to experiment with that in the future.
What advice would you give to other brand creators?
Start with the end in mind. Design your final result pages first, then work backward to create the content and style. Without the end result as a filter, you’ll find yourself constantly backtracking.
Can you give us a one-sentence testimonial for OOOPEN Lab?
“Never made a personality quiz? No problem. If you have an idea, OOOPEN Lab lets you become a Quiz Master on your very first try!”
